After graduated from the Keio University with Law Department, he joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1974. Since then, he held several positions such as General Manger of Plant & Heavy Machinery Unit, General Manager of Project Development Unit, Plant Project Div.. He also served as Senior Vice President, Division COO, Plant & Industrial Machinery Business Div., Executive Vice President, Group COO, Machinery Group, Senior Executive Vice President, Regional CEO, Latin America and has been serving as Corporate Advisor since 2016.
